Caption Contest: Write Your Own Cartoon!!

Have you ever wanted to try your hand at cartooning? Here's your chance.

A few months ago I mentioned in an article here that I publish a daily lawyer cartoon ( Stu's Views, http://www.stus.com ). Well, I've teamed up with the fine folks at http://www.HumorMeOnline.com to offer an audience re-captioning contest called Top Stu.

Here's how it works. Every few days a new cartoon is posted at www.HumorMeOnline.com (click the Top Stu button on the page header), but my caption has been deleted. Your goal is to write an alternative gag line using my image. After a few days, the best entry is chosen and announced. That winning line is then inserted into the cartoon to create a whole new cartoon. (Note: many of the good runners-up are also published on the web site, so you get to see the breadth of submissions.)

The winning cartoon then has a face off against my original cartoon with my gag line. The audience votes on which it likes better. While, of course, everything I write is absolute genius :) there may be the occasional cartoon that is able to Top Stu.

Whether or not they are able to Top Stu, all winning contestants will get a signed print of the cartoon with their caption inserted.
