Here is the latest crop of online comic strips. Some are great, and may suit your tastes better than newspaper comics. But, there's also a lot of mediocre material, so you may have to search to discover a gem.

Robrucha Cartoons by Robert Chambers.
Over 50 years cartooning and has been published around the world.   Most cartoons are aviation related, but single panel cartoons published as well.  His work has been published in : Saturday Evening Post, Stars and Stripes, Changing Times, Private Pilot, Pacific Flyer, Popular Flying (UK), and he does the monthly back page cartoon for KitPlanes Magazine.  Occasional.  E-mail.

A novel strip about an opportunistic wizard of often dubious magical talent and other medieval characters.  Cute twists.  E-mail.

Questionable Tales by Nate Lockwood.
From what nook or cranny of the mind will the next Questionable Tale evolve, perhaps even  frothing at the mouth like a badger with Tourrette's?  Daily.  E-mail.
Cooper Toons by Chip Cooper.
Single panel cartoon with topics that include and often confuse science, technology, business, and even the Old American West.  Mon-Fri.  E-mail.
On the Outskirts by Dennison Rey and Bobbi Sturgeon.
Dark humor in a light setting on the outskirts of imagination that has been hailed as "... the darker side of Gary Larson..."  Weekly.  E-mail Dennison. E-mail Bobbi.
Matt & Austin by  Matt Gillmore and Austin Tate.
Matt and Austin are two regular guys lampooning the world they live in.  M&A is drawn in Flash, and has a web browser type format, allowing animations, full color, and any number of frames needed to tell the joke.  Weekly.  E-mail Matt.
