Almost every newspaper cartoonist in the country is syndicated. This means that a company, called a "syndicate," handles the sale and distribution of the comic.
Until now, the contracts between cartoonists and syndicates were a mystery to all non-syndicated aspiring cartoonists. Most syndicated cartoonists also felt in the dark. The most that cartoonists really understood was the the syndicates drive a hard bargain. This lack of information has now changed. I recently graduated from Harvard Law School, and am now posting my thesis on syndicate contracts for comment I need some feedback on things like ease of reading and understanding. To see it on the Web, go to www.stus.com/thesis.htm. To download it, go to www.stus.com/research.htm. --Stu Go To Page: 1
