New Strip: FOR HEAVEN'S SAKE

Creators Syndicate offers a new strip called For Heaven's Sake by Reverand Michael T. Morgan ( http://www.creators.com/comics/compage/h... ). Interestingly, this strip really is written by an ordained minister.

According to the web site, Mike began drawing "For Heaven's Sake!", a comic strip published in the religion section of The Macon Telegraph, in September 1991. The weekly cartoon celebrates the faith and pokes fun at the foibles of the characters who make up the congregation of "Mainline Memorial Church."

This strip is also interesting because it shows how the comic strip syndicates are looking to niche markets as a new source of growth. This is increasingly important as the mainstream martket is saturated with established comics.
