News from Beau Yarbrough at Comicbook resources http://www.comicbookresources.com at San Diego Comic-Con reports that J. Scott Campbell and Andy Hartnell will return with a new Danger Girl series the first quarter of 2003. The new series will be titled “Danger Girl: Hawaiian Punch” The book, described by artist Phil Noto at the DC/WildStorm panel Thursday afternoon (August 1) as "just them in Hawaii on vacation, and shenanigans ensue," is the first of four planned specials taking place around the world, which Dunbier said WildStorm hopes to release at the rate of two a year. My opinion – This is truly an entertaining comic book. But two issues a year? Do you think they can handle it? Check out the preview picture.

I heard a news flash that there was a surprise guest at San Diego’s Comic-Con International last week. During the Terminator 3 presentation Arnold Schwarzenegger strolled out and did a Q&A. During the talk, he mentioned that he wants to do Conan 3 and that he was eager to start it. He said the script is written and that they are just waiting on Warner Brothers to decide when to do it. When asked about Doc Savage, Arnie said that Frank Darabont wrote the script for it. They turned it in and Warner Bros. reviewed it. They estimated that it would cost $220 million to film it. WB then shied away from the project until they could do it cheaper. Schwarzenegger said he doesn't know what's currently up with the movie. Okay – Here’s you Marvel Movie scorecard: Movies expected out in 2003 include Daredevil, X-Men 2, Hulk and The Punisher. The following year, in 2004 look for Spider-Man 2, Fantastic Four, Ghost Rider, The Invincible Iron Man, and Sgt. Fury. For Spider-Man 2 the script is currently being written. The other 2004 movies are more tentative. According to my sources, the next marvel movie to be released is Daredevil in February of 2003.
