Summer Fun with Archie and Casper!

© Robert Smithers

It's summer, and the living is easy.............

Way back in your great-grandpa's day, comic books were fun! Then, in 1938, the super hero comic was introduced! And let me tell you - things went downhill quickly from there!

Try a look back to gentlier, and a whole lot funnier, times with Archie, Betty Veronica, Jughead and the rest of the "gang" at Archie Comics

A top notch web site for all you Archie fanatics who take the trivia quizes on my site and pester me all the time - let you younger sibling on the web at the Archie Comics address.

Another cool, first rate web site is Harvey Comics! Casper, Baby Huey, Little Lulu, Dot, Hot Stuff, and Richie Rich! They're all here - with REAL online comics! For the kid in all of us the Harvey site is at Harvey Comics

Honorable mention goes to the Warner Brother's Kids web site at Kids WB

WB just doesn't rate a top score, as it is way to commercial - ads on the top of the page! PLEASE! And it's WAY too slow loading. Most of the stuff is thinly disguised ad for something. Although I do like the karaoke in Real Audio.

Enjoy the summer!

Robert
