BarnesandNoble@AOL to feature Stan Lee in the Authors@AOL Series of Chats
NEW YORK, April 20, 1998 -- Stan Lee, a name synonymous with character creation and comic books, launches his spectacular style into the digital age with the opening of the STAN LEE site in the MARVEL ZONE, Marvel's Internet domain offering original entertainment.
The celebrated mind behind world renowned icons such as Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, the X-Men and so many more also announced his participation in a series of monthly chats beginning Wednesday, April 22, 1998 at 8:30 PM ET only on America Online at Keyword: Marvel. The STAN LEE site contains six "channels" which currently include original entertainment content, the schedule of America Online chats and coming in May -- the online version of his famous SOAPBOX column popularized in Marvel Comics plus a brand new column. The six "channels" are:
