new role for CrossGen Comics. In his new position as Vice President of
Production Development, Peterson will oversee the implementation and
management of CrossGen's new production control system, which will track and
coordinate artist schedules as well as analyze and troubleshoot problems
related to the production of all CrossGen publications.
But this does not mean the end of Brandon's contributions as a penciler at CrossGen, and fans should look for some announcements about a top-secret project to be released in 2002. New Art Director Bart Sears assumes the responsibilities of overseeing the daily artistic output of CrossGen as well as helping to train the next generation of talent through CrossGen's in-house associate artist program. Along with these duties, Sears will continue to be the regular monthly penciler on the new CrossGen series, The Path. "Bart was the most logical choice to replace Brandon as Art Director," Alessi said. "He's been in the industry a long time, he has taught classes at the Kubert School, and he's well respected both inside and outside this studio. He was a natural for the position and is doing a tremendous job so far." In an effort to aid in that disbursement, Charlie Novinskie has been appointed as the non-voting secretary to ACTOR's Disbursement Committee. Novinskie will handle all paperwork and trafficking of votes to aid the Disbursement Committee in selecting worthy recipients. Novinskie will also handle "discovery" for the Disbursement Committee.
