Free Daily Christmas Comic starts December 1st!

Check out this very cool Christmas web site starting December 1 from Steve Englehart and Joe Staton

============================================

Starting December 1, 2001, and running through Christmas Day, Steve Englehart and Joe Staton (see bios below) are going to present a Christmas serial in 25 daily parts. It is entirely free on the web at steveenglehart.com. No advertising of any kind will be displayed.

Good boys and girls of all ages - but especially the under-12s - can follow the story of Rustle, a little evergreen tree who joins Chiss and Mymla, two of Santa's elves, on a mission to rescue Santa's magic silver bell. This is the bell that lets Santa go all around the world in one night, so if he doesn't get it back by Christmas Eve... But Rustle and his friends are up against the sinister Coalman and his nasty gnome, Yørgøn (that's Yørgøn, above). Before it's over, Rustle will have traveled around the world - even back through time - and readers will be with him all the way, for a brand new chapter every day!

STEVE ENGLEHART is the writer. Steve wrote the "definitive" Batman comics which became the first feature film (the good one). He created the Night Man television series. He wrote Countdown to Flight, a history of the Wright Brothers selected by NASA as the basis for their school programs on the invention of the aeroplane. He's written video games for Sega, Electronic Arts, and Disney. He's written animation for Disney and Street Fighter.

Steve says, "I wanted to write a Christmas serial since nobody does anymore. So I wrote this one for my own kids, and they liked it so much I decided to make it a Christmas present for all kids."

JOE STATON is the artist. Joe currently draws Scooby Doo, and has drawn everything from the Rugrats and the Wild Thornberrys to Green Lantern (with Steve) and Superman. He is the co-creator of E-Man and The Huntress. He was Art Director at First Comics, the first major independent comics company. He drew the Classics Illustrated adaptation of The Christmas Carol. He's illustrated educational texts and workbooks, and storyboarded ads and animated websites.

Remember, RUSTLE'S CHRISTMAS ADVENTURE will be found from December 1 through December 25 only at steveenglehart.com. You can go there now to bookmark the page so you and any little ones will be ready for a Christmas treat - if you've been good.
