The first issue of Batgirl comic book has sold out! But not to worry! due to it's popularity, DC is in a second print of the issue. Look for it as soon as this coming week.

Starting Mar 13 Burger King will once again be putting Poke'mon characters in their Kids Meals and Big Kids Meals. This time, without the Poke'ball. Characters are slated to be inserted at random.

The May issue of Deadpool will feature something new. Silence. That's right. The "Merc-with-a-mouth" is reputed to have nothing to say for an entire issue! Jack Kirby's grandson, Jeremy is set to launch "Kirby Comics" this summer. A comic featuring Captain Victory will be the first book published.

Ben Edlund's script for the live-action movie version of "The Tick" is finished, and filming is set to start in April.

ELFQUEST: THE MOVIE: THE TOYS

Cutter and the Wolfriders have been quiet recently, but expect the elves created by Wendy and Richard Pini to be making a lot of noise when the animated "Elfquest" film is released. And as with most action-adventure movies, fans will be able to buy associated action figures, as well.

Initially, Living Toyz will be producing sets of action figures based on the comic book versions of the "Elfquest" characters. When the movie premieres, a double-sized set of figures, based on the film's character designs, will be released.

The animated film is being produced by several European film companies from a script by Marv Wolfman, Craig Miller and Wendy Pini, and the film is being executive produced by Miller and Wolfman.
