... more on the continuing saga of corporate sites on the web. Hang on 'cause here we go........
========================= Kult Comics - small press publisher promoting two comics "Damian Spectre" and "Puff". Art looks interesting - kind of like a stylized, squeaky clean Top Cow book. Other than they've been on the web a long time (2 to 3 years?), I don't know anything about these guys. Ages 13 and up is my best guess. You decide. Le Sabre Entertainment another small press publisher. Just appeared recently and thier sole comic is "Heroes with Fantasies". Nice web site - very cool "trailer" with comic book creators. A definite "Check it out!" for the trailer! Not any real information on the book, but what the heck. The web site is definitely worth a look. As for the comic - you be the judge. Shall we say 13 and up again. I guess so. London Night Studios publisher of "Razor" bad girl comics. Skimpy clothing and lots of blood - what else do you need to know? A few other characters (Poizon, Embrace, et al). Web site is very old and out-of-date. Hasn't been updated in over a year. Not a good web site for current information! If you have any on these folks, please post in discussion below. Comics geared toward college students and the "slasher movie" crowd. Comics, and web site recomended for 18 and up. Marvel Comics the second of the "big two". Great web site, lots of color previews. A little harder to get around that DC's site, but definitely more creative. A definite "must see" comic book web site. 8 and up okay on web, though may be slow loading. Megaton Man This is the funniest super-hero comic site on the web! Tons of online comics of Megaman and er...ah...friends. Don Simpsons' hilarous spoof on the super-hero genrie is currently a back-up story in the Savage Dragon comic by Image. Daily and Weekly serials - takeoffs on Casey-at-the-bat, complete with uniforms that say "Mudville" across the front. Episodes like "Irving the Catus Pricks Again!" (I'm not makeing this up!). Yeah, the obligatory online store is here too, but it doesn't get in the way. The artist's got to make a living. Don't miss this site! It's way too funny. Okay for ages 8 and up. Mojo Press Who says I don;'t cover small press folks? Appears to be a book and comic strip, and comic publisher - and all of it is weird! Comics include "Bad Chili" and "Gorilla Gunslinger" , I think. Very professional looking site. I can't give any recommendations on the books and comics. You can supply the comments here.
