I'm Late!!!!

Okay, I'm late for this week. And this being a lazy summer, and a short work week, not much real news is going on in the land of comics. So this week I talk about late. I have one late breaking rumor, and Andrew Toth's Late Comics list. Ever wonder what happens when those big and small companies say "It'll be out next week - and it never shows up! Andrew is kind (and crazy) enough to keep track of it for us! Hey - where but right here at Suite 101 did I report on the printing error for the Crisis hardcover! You think DC lost a few bucks on that one! Only a few hundred of thousands of dollars! Late comics can mean big bucks in lost revenue. Don't try this at home!

Late breaking Rumor....

KELLY LEAVES DEADPOOL

No one can say Joe Kelly didn't fight the good fight. Fending off unrelenting rumors about the cancellation of Deadpool - his first-ever ongoing series - as well as some internal uncertainty within Marvel itself at times, Kelly stood with his perpetually struggling series for the better part of a year...even while his own career path made him one of the industry's respected and sought-after young talents. But to all things come an end and according to Deadpool's new editor Ruben Diaz, this September Kelly will move on and a new but unnamed writer will move into Kelly's vacant chair.
