THE TRUNK SPACE ART GALLERY TO FEATURE COMICS AND SEQUENTIAL ART SHOW IN JULY
Professional comic book writers and artists will appear and perform throughout the month, ACTOR Comic Fund to benefit from a percentage of proceeds
PHOENIX, AZ (June 30, 2004) � On Friday, July 2nd, The Trunk Space Gallery, in partnership with Samurai Comics, will be kicking off "We Heart Sequential Art," an amazing month-long exhibit of fine comic book and sequential art for sale, helping raise community awareness of comics art and helping raise funds for ACTOR (A Commitment To Our Roots) Comic Fund.
The Trunk Space Gallery will be graciously hosting several events throughout July, complete with live mural artists, DJ Red Bird, live bands, poetry readings, a veggie hot dog BBQ, and more. Nationally recognized comic creators and local self-publishers will be featured during all the events, and all artwork will be on display and available for purchase throughout July..
ACTOR Comic Fund is the first-ever federally chartered not-for-profit corporation dedicated strictly to helping comic book creators in need. ACTOR creates a financial safety net for yesterday�s creators who may need emergency medical aid, financial support for essentials of life, and entre back into paying work.
