Review of Avengers/JLA #2 and Felix The Cat comics
To sum it up - this is a wonderful story. I think this is Kurt's most inventive story since "Maximum Security". The wheels within wheels are turning, and the next issue promises to have even more heroes that in issue #2. This comic book has a great story, excellent art, premium paper, and a big "ouch" for a cover price at $5.95. (I suggest you subscribe at your local comic shop for this one.) In short, comic books do not get any better than this. A villain capable of wiping out reality, a sneaky Grandmaster who is playing uncountable games simultaneously, heroes pitted against each other, incredible and, and just plain fun. I give this book a 5 out of 5 or excellent. P. S. And if you think the cover of this issue is crowded, the picture above is only the front cover. The rest of the picture is on the back cover. And if that isn't enough for you, take a look at all of the characters on cover #3. This is a wonderful children's comic. It brings back nostalgic memories about the mischievous cat and his magical bag of tricks. I enjoyed the light and non-violent tone to the stories and art. Cute is definitely emphasized. I like the coloring page, the maze, and very nice job on putting pictures, hand written letters, and photographs together for the letter page. The art is consistently good - all the proportions are realistic, even when going from big to small. In the first story, the angles and the size changes are worked into the story. The stories are very simple and easy to follow - made for
