Define future movies include League of Extraordinary Gentlemen due out in July and the Hellboy movie is a definite for Memorial Day weekend. From the possible future movies department: According to Comics Continuum at http://www.comicscontinuum.com from Wizard Word east convention Michael Turner and Top Cow are still working on a "Fathom" movie with James Cameron's Lightstorm Entertainment and 20th Century Fox. The script is still being written. In TV news, here's the hot rumor: Speculation from several sources is that Warner Brothers is looking to do a new animated Batman series. It is only speculation at this point that this may be like a "Year One" Batman or Batman with a technologically advanced suit. All I know are rumors at this point. In the new comics for GenX department: MV Creations and CrossGen comics are building on the success of their "Masters of the Universe" comic series. This comic is a spin-off of the 1980's animated children's television show and hopes to draw those GenXers to comics by using familiar characters they say when they were young. Building on this theme, MV Creations and CrossGen announced that the plan to make comic books out of the 1980's Don Bluth video games "Space Ace" and "Dragon's Lair". These video games were noted for excellent graphics and color during their day, and featured humans rather than Pac-People or shooters. The legal; text of the complaint is on the aspen comics website at http://www.aspencomics.com/lawsuit.asp The suit alleges that Top Cow continued to use Turner's trademarked "Fathom" character after he left the company at the end of 2002. Turner is suing for royalties on the use of his copyrighted character after that time.
