The main opponent will be Slade (called Deathstroke, the Terminator in the comics). Word is that they will shy away from the Deathstorke name and will shy away from the Terminator name and he will simply be called Slade.

In other Cartoon Network news, they announced that they have a new 'Duck Dogers' show. So okay, it's not currently a comic book, but I really liked the old Duck Dogers cartoon with Daffy Duck and Porky Pig.

I am looking forward to 26 episodes of this goofiness.

In other Comics to Film reports, Deadman is being considered as a television series for TNT network and the script is currently being written.

In other media news, Jon Voight is producing a Ghost Rider movie, still in scripting, as I understand it.

The Crow is on track for a movie called "Crow: Wicked Prayer". It's the fourth Crow movie, if you are keeping track. I believe the first three were for either cable television or went straight to video. I have seen one of them and it wasn't bad. It has lots of introspection and soul searching. I think that this is not the greatest theme for a big budget movie, in my opinion. For more Crow news check out http://abahb.crowfans.com/news/

Other comic book characters working at becoming feature films are "The Phantom" is in the works, "Man-Thing" is set to film this summer, "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" is set to debut in theatres this July, "Elektra" is on track, "Wonder Woman" script is in work, "Iron Fist" is on hold. "Batman" is on hold; "Fantastic Four" is in the works, Deathlok is in the works.

Next time - I look at some printed comics - I promise.

God bless
