In fact, Dan Pierce, Joe Java Coffee President tells me that this blend is created by DJ's Daily Grind's very own Jerry Crews and is more specifically a blend of Sumatran, Indian and Guatemalan beans.

Dan also tells me that he attributes their high quality product to their relationship with their roasters. "We have worked closely with the same master roasters at the same micro-roasters in Columbus (Crimson Cup Coffee Roasters) and Cincinnati (Seven Hills Coffee Roasters). And they are seasoned veterans. We share the same philosophy on roasting - every coffee has a perfect roast to maximize the flavor of the bean and bring out its unique qualities. We are selling the best of the best that Mother Nature has to offer. Our micro-roasters have demonstrated a "hands-on" day to day involvement in bean purchasing and processing that gives us total confidence that we are offering our customers the best coffee available."
