Time for a few new ESPRESSO RECIPES. Here’s some that have been reviewed by fellow coffee connoisseurs.
1 ounce shot of cold Espresso 2-3 heaping teaspoons of unsweetened cocoa added to 1 cup of milk Vanilla extract Sweetened whipped cream Stir together cold coffee, cocoa in milk and vanilla. Pour over ice in a tall glass. Top with whipped cream. HOT COCOA ESPRESSO 4 tablespoons instant espresso coffee powder 1 cup boiling water 1 cup hot chocolate powder Whipped cream with a tablespoon of sugar added Grated orange peel Ground nutmeg Combine espresso with boiling water and dissolve hot chocolate mix into it. Pour into demitasse cups. Spoon whipped cream with orange peel on coffee and sprinkle with nutmeg. SPICY VIENNESE COFFEE 2 1-ounce shots of Espresso 2 sticks of cinnamon 4 cloves 1/2 teaspoon allspice Whipped cream with sugar and cinnamon added Mix the spices into each shot of Espresso and top with cinnamon whipped cream.
