Have you dreamed to starting your own business, being your own boss? Are you a coffee fanatic? I would guess so, if you are a regular COFFEE CONNOISSEURS fan! So maybe you're dream business is a ....coffee shop?

Well, I don't profess to be an expert on entrepreneurship, but there are plenty of resources out there. Here's one for example, the Coffee Fest Trade Show. The next one will be in New Orleans, June 24, 2000. Here's some of the topics they'll cover:

The Regions Of Costa Rican Coffee by speaker Carlos Alfaro of Cafe de Costa Rica. Achieving and Sustaining Success In The Specialty Coffee Business by Bruce Milletto of the Bellissimo Coffee Info Group. This class will discuss the factors and actions necessary in building a successful, profitable specialty coffee business, once your doors have opened for business. Topics discussed in detail will include: the importance of producing a quality product, merchandising and marketing, managing employees, controlling food cost, labor expenses, and measuring profitability.

Barista Techniques of the Espresso Professional by David Morris & Christopher Heyer of Dillano's Coffee
