Upon discovering, Phil Coulter’s , new CD, “ Healing Angel ”, I SAT, PONDERED AND WAITED ... for GOD.

Coulter’s music and Ms. Downey's lilting Irish prose seal the illuminating success of this recording.
It’s not that they have created anything new or original ... BUT ... there is an omni-presence that lulls your spirit into another realm of consciousness.
Perhaps it is Phil Coulter’s, astounding abilities to encompass the timely texts of the ancient Celts ... effortlessly transporting them, smack into the enigmatic solstice of 2002.
PHIL COULTER was born in the 1942, during the war. His life was exceptionally, normal, including the fact that music filled every corner of his poor little home. Coulter ventured to Queen’s University in Belfast, quickly establishing a reputation and following with bands and hit compositions on the U.K. Charts.
He parlayed between stars, such as Van Morrison, Marianne Faithful, Sinead O’Connor, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Tom Jones and the Rolling Stones.
In London, he hooked up with fellow/Composer, Bill Martin, joining an illustrious band of songwriter duo’s on the streets of London ... and produced hits such as, “ PUPPETT ON A STRING " and “ CONGRATULATIONS”, sung by Cliff Richard .
Most 50’s and 60’s babies will remember, Richard Harris, singing the immortal MacARTHUR PARK ... “ MacArthur Park is melting in the dark ; All the sweet green icing floating down: Someone left the cake out in the rain ".
Even in the early days, Phil Coulter demonstrated the creative totality of verse and sound that produced International acclaim. Times change but Coulter just keeps getting better and better.( http://www.philcoulter.com )
