Although a few might not fit exactly into the old Protestant beliefs, I think that one of my articles included most of their denominations into the broad category of Protestant. When I looked at John Hoh’s poll at Lutheranism, I was shocked to see that many thought that Lutherans were neither Protestant nor Catholic. So if you think that is true, I understand your concern. It is possible that just as words sometimes change their meaning through time, that the name Protestantism will also mean different things to different people.
