ApologetiX Concert!

not old, so the Spice Girls could get a better Old Spice.) I guess he IS with ApologetiX, so he can't be all THAT serious. ApologetiX aren't all fun and games at the expense of the Word!

A few times, J. stopped the music for prayer, and preaching. Karl met Heather at an earlier concert, and now she's part of Karl's on-line Bible-reading challenge which involves more than 200 kids around the country. Their songs are all very biblical (as far as I've heard), and fun to listen to.

One thing I wish they'd have done was to show the lyrics on the overhead**. They'd have gotten lots more singing along, and the printed word could have helped to overpower the secular lyrics which tried to get in the way a bit.

I've been telling people that if ApologetiX perform near them, they should mark the dates as Don't-Miss engagements. I know I will, and I'll be bringing friends, and maybe even strangers next time. ApologetiX is good clean fun. ApologetiX has a great classic rock sound, as well as being adaptable to other genres. ApologetiX stays true to God's Word!

To ApologetiX: Keep on spreading the Word!

Bless You all, in Jesus's name!

*Animal IS Bill's influence on drums, as confirmed by a 5 July, 2002, e-mail from Bill.

**They tried overheads, but found a lyric-projection 'totally assassinates the concert atmosphere.' (per e-mail from Karl, 5 July, 2002)
