Ernest J. Lee, and the Spirit of David chorale demonstrate enthusiasm with their songs of praise, and worship. The group was handpicked by Ernest J. Lee who is known by fans as "something special" for his gifted love for songwriting and arranging gospel music that has exploded into a Holy Ghost filled ministry, which is "the Spirit of David". Ernest J. Lee, and the Spirit of David chorale display a unique style that combines urban-contemporary with street-edged gospel grooves. The result is a fresh new hip-hop "Flavor", rich vocals, and great talent that appeals to all walks of life. There latest project titled "Encourage Yourself" is a collection of uplifting melodies, lyrics, and encouraging songs which contains something for everybody from the opening exhortation to the closing.

The album is extraordinary, a total package, and uplifts the spirit no matter what your experiencing. Track number seven titled "Hold On" is a song of faith and encouragement. It has a jazzy and house dance mix tempo. "Victory in Jesus Name" is a song that allows us to reflect on all of the ups and downs that Jesus has brought us through by His mighty hand. The cut is soothing, but fast-paced enough to get your head rocking, foot stomping and your faith knocking. Lastly, the track titled "David's dance" says "be strong in the Lord, And in the power of His might I know that He can make things right! ...I know that He'll do it...He can do anything just trust and believe, He'll do just what He said!! When the Spirit of the Lord comes upon my heart I will dance like David danced...When the Spirit of the Lord comes upon my heart I will sing like David sang." This album indeed proves the group is commissioned by God Almighty.
