Eric D. CarringtonEric Carrington is a member of Willing Workers Baptist Church where he serves as Minister of Music. Eric recorded his first choir’s album “Cavalry” in 1992 and began writing spiritual songs in 1987. Eric’s vision was fulfilled through the release of his second project, “God Said It,” which is a soul-stirring, and inspirational CD that delivers a message of faith, hope and spiritual love. Now with his third project titled "Soar", Carrington has a billboard winner that will draw you into the presence of God during Sunday Morning Praise & Worship, and offer many facets of musical styles. Eric’s new project “SOAR”, is a combination of instrumentally stripped-down gospel music groomed in contemporary and urban styles with a traditional twist of rhythm, praise and worship. The album features the hit songs, “Anointing”, "Where There's A Prayer", and "Soar". The standout cut is the title track, which is a song of testimony and praise by Carrington. Additional songs includes “Wash Me” and “Calvary”, where Carrington carries a traditional lead vocal over the choir. Shawn McLemore and James Fortune make an encore guest appearance on this project for the a duet with Carrington on “Fire”, and “My Dance”. Track List to "Soar".
