Joe Pace & The Colorado Mass ChoirThe Colorado Mass Choir was founded in the urban communities of the Rocky Mountain region led by vocalist and director Joe Pace II. The Colorado Mass Choir has sold over 150,000 albums and has won one of Gospel music's highest honors, a Stellar Award for Best New Artist of the Year. The group surfaced in 1997 with the album Watch God Move scoring a hit single "Stir Up the Gift" and "Still Have Joy" lwhich has generated a national fan base among traditional and contemporary Gospel music lovers The group presents fans with commanding and exciting music that both moves and inspires. Joe Pace and Colorado Mass Choir bring forth a unique sound in their new release "God's Got It" released in 1995 with over 70 voices. "God's Got It" is an up-tempo, and meaningful album intermingled with melodic beats and rhythms and featuring a range of sounds throughout all 10 cuts. The album was recorded before a live audience in Colorado Springs, CO, and co-produced by Joseph Pace II, Percy Beatty and Paul Wright III. The songs range from from urban contemporary and traditional to praise & worship and straight church songs. Th album's highlight is the worship and praise song “We Worship You”, featuring fred Hammond is described as “the worship song of the year.” It is a touching song that glorifies the Lord and beautifully communicates his message. The title cut, "God's Got It" gives fans what they have come to love with a “pick em up, ” up-tempo church song. Camelia Lockhart takes lead on the churchy “God’s Got It” and Ann McCrary sings memorably on the mid-tempo re-arrangement of "It Is Well". Additional songs include "Just Come" which is a moving and encouraging song. Pace describes the congregation as “an amazingly powerful and moving moment felt by both young and old that definitely came across on the album."
