Brenda WatersBrenda Waters has been preparing for her life's calling in the gospel music ministry. Both mother and grandmother played for and directed church choirs, and Brenda herself started singing and playing when she was only a child. Brenda Waters formed the classic albums from Leonard Burke and the Voices of Praise, and The Southeast Inspirational Youth Choir in the 70's which helped pioneer contemporary gospel music along with Carl Preacher and Charlie Joiner. She also worked with Donald Lawrence appearing on his 1993 debut album "A Songwriters Point Of View" and released her own solo debut, Believers & Friends in 1999 on the Crystal Rose label. Brenda Waters is a music missionary, accomplished vocalist, arranger, and songwriter. Brenda dedicated her life to church music ministry to heal, nourish, and prepare me for greater works
Her latest track titled Believer & Friends delivers outstanding classic Gospel songs with an uplifting message, and upbeat sounds to its listeners. Some of the songs include the classic “Oh, Mary”, which depicts define the story of Lazarus and features Kevin Bond and Donald Lawrence with a comtemporary flow and insturmental backgrounds. Waters sings in low range vocals into acappella church-time groove with Rev. Michael Mack “Victory”. Additional tracks include “Absent From The Body (More Of The Story)” and “I Am The One”. Guest vocalist Hedreich Nichols makes a worshipful and georgeous vocal on her written song for “Vessel”.
