"He Still Lives In Me"Roscoe Robinson is a native of Arkansas, and the former member of the Five Blind Boys of Mississippi. Roscoe began recording in 1951 for Trumpet and sang in many gospel groups, including Fairfield Four, The Five Trumpets, and Highway QC's. He is known for his warmly vibrating organ playing, hard R&B structures, and deep Soul vocals. He had a sensational hit in 1966, "That's Enough," for Wand. He continued recording for several other small labels, but never again had any national impact, although he has made many fine regional songs in vintage Southern soul style. Robinson also returned to his gospel roots in the '80s, recording for Savoy with a vocal style similar to Sam Cooke's and backed by a sharp R&B outfit. Roscoe Robinson release "He still lives in Me" is a Total Experience. The CD encompasses a variety of gospel sounds from R&B to contemporary gospel with a message to target people for winning and ministering to the heart of man. The outcome is a totally complete ministry for the soul. Tracks include "I'm a Solider", "Lord Will Make a Way" offering hope and encouragement, "Life Is Like a Mountain Railroad" and "World Is Full of Sin". The CD has outstanding lead vocals with a strong evangelism tool, thus touching all Generations. Robinson performs the kind of Gospel that could be easily mistaken for radio hits from the Stax/Volt era.
