Contemporary Christian star BeBe Winans debuts as an artist with a collection of mostly original tunes that evoke the spirit of Christianity but lean in a decidedly pop direction. With a career spanning 13 years, BeBe has established himself as a vocalist and producer in the gospel and R&B arena. BeBe has won 4 Grammy Awards, 10 dove Awards, 2 NAACP Image Awards, 1 Soul Train Award and 6 Stellar Awards. As a producer and songwriter, BeBe has worked with Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross and many other gospel greats. One of BeBe's Grammy Awards is for his work with Houston on the Bodyguard Soundtrack. "Coming Back Home" is receiving incredible support at radio. Following the airing of the Oprah Winfrey show, fans can get a special digital download of "Coming Back Home" at Oprah.com. The line between R&B and gospel has often been a blurry one, but BeBe Winans is hoping to make it disappear completely with his Motown debut, Love And Freedom.

BeBe Winans marks his Motown solo debut by returning to an album focused on relationships with topics including love, hope, forgiveness and homecomings. He embraces his freedom to write and sing about natural things from a Christian perspective. Highlights include the lush "In Harm's Way," the uptempo "Thank You" (featuring Luther Vandross), and Stephnie Mills jumps gloriously from retirement to duet with him in "Everday", bringing her distinctive voice to the mix on this relationship love song. The ballad "Did You Know" (featuring Debbie Winans), the catchy "I Wanna Be The Only One," and "This Song," featuring acoustic guitar by Eric Clapton and reminiscent of the Clapton-Babyface hit "Change The World." Wonder and Winans also perform a duet on Wonder's "Jesus Children Of America," which will be the second single. Defintely an album with appeal for Christian, pop, and AC audiences.
