Rev. Ernest Davis Jr. formed the Wilmington Chester Mass Choir in 1978. Rev. Davis was highly recognized in Gospel music for his gifts of song composition, choral arrangements, and fearless commitment to ministry. As a result, A new standard has been set for gospel music with there latest release "Hosanna! And They Sang the Word" recording from the artist Rev. Ernest Davis Jr.'s Wilmington Chester Mass Choir. This is there finest work yet. This CD incorporates a potent collection of ten songs, ranging from street bump to church bounce with lots in between. "Hosanna! And They Sang the Word" reflects the groups lyrical passion and musical versatility. The soulful melodies of the album encourages the listener.
