Pettidees first solo project "Still Alive" Album is a combination of urban rap and reggae. The album tells the heartfelt story of Pettidees transformation from a sinner to a servant for Christ, and is sure to make a huge impact on audiences entering into the new millennium. Pettidee's celebrated release on Shabach Entertainment did not come easy though. "This project has been a long time coming," says the Florida native. "I had to be very patient. I had been almost signed several times and have been working on my craft for several years now. I've been underground for a while now. The Lord knew that I had to wait until the time was right." The Album is currently on the top ten in rap charts.

The stories presented in this 13-track album emerges from Pettidee's abusive and violent background, and centers on the message of God's ability to heal and save. The first song on the Album is "Still Alive" and sets the stage for an incredible urban musical ride, followed by "Devil's Get Dropped 2000" which features many fellow Christian rappers and celebrities. Other celebrated tracks include "Don't Tell Me", "Give Your Life", "I Was, He Is", and ends his track with the song "prayer" with an invitation to Christ.

Still Alive track presents lyrics that address very serious real issues confronting the world in general, and therefore many can relate to the album. Jackie" is a track about the life battles of a stripper and the difficulties to give her life over to Christ. "I Understand" deals with teen pregnancy within the church and how it effects family members and individuals involved. The song "I Understand" is very real because sexual promiscuity is an issue teenagers deal with on a regular basis.

Pettidees vision is to win the world for Christ with the message of God's hope and deliverance. He featured his rap songs at the Celebrate 4000 rally event for that purpose, along with many other Christian bands to the families suffering after the high school shootings in Littleton, colorado. The 10-hour event was a Christ-centered youth rally at Metropolitan Park at Jacksonville, and a gathering linked by satellite to a similar event in Denver to remember students slain in the Columbine High School massacre. The cause of the concert was to reach the lost souls of Jacksonville, and to bring others to Jesus.
