Christian Gospel Music for the Spirit and Soul

© Carol Allen

Do you have a love and passion for the artistry of music? There are many types of music out in the market today. I have chosen to write about Christian Gospel music because I find the music to be soothing, encouraging and uplifting to the soul and spirit. The lyrics are composed of messages of love, hope, and tells the awesome story of a man named Jesus who dwelled amongst us to save a dying, and sinful world.

Christian Gospel music has the ability to restore the spirit and bring it back to life. It has the power to uplift when you are down and to revive the soul. It has the power to encourage when you are discouraged from life's burdens and trials, and to bring joy and hope when you are depressed , sad, or downcast. Additionally, Christian Gospel music has a calming power when you are anxious or worried, and has the power to allow you to appreciate what you have instead of what you don't when you are envious or jeolous. It gives hope for the future when you are hopeless . There is awesome power on awakening the soul and reviving the spirit.

The lyrics are composed of positive messages of loving one another in a hateful world, and helping others who are in need of a caring person; as opposed to the detrimental messages found on other types of music which teaches hate, violence, vulgarity and abuse towards one another.

There are many excellent Christian Gospel artists who write there own songs and sing from their heart the messages found in the Bible, the life of Jesus Christ, and on lifes issues.

I will provide links to Christian Gospel music and artists whose songs and lyrics have positive, meaningful, and purposeful messages. Please feel free to visit and listen to the music and the artists and lyrics behind the music. Also, highly recommended for young children who are bombarded with so much junk, filth and detrimental music these days.

Our messages crossed; that's how slowly I wrote. Glad you spoke up with a good word for the words. If the words don't have good meaning, good tunes and rhythms can't save it, for me. Which I hope i ...
