Ben Glover...26 Letters

The next tune on the album, "Too Many Miracles" has a sort of Michael W. Smith sound to it. This song is another great song, but I think the title should have been taken from the chorus and called "too many reasons to believe" because it compares the meaning to the meaningless and it ends that all the evidence in this song including the miracles are too many reasons to believe!

"Running After Me", the fifth number, is another toe tapping song that has an excellent message about no matter how often we fall or if we feel like we are so far away from God's love and are ashamed, He is running after us to call us back to fellowship with Him. This song was playing when I finished writing about the second song above, and I believe this may be a message that some need to hear.

In my opinion this album lyrically is like the real life testimony of a Christian put to music. It has in the lyrics our struggle with our sin nature, some of our thoughts and ideas about what we need to do. It also has our pleas to Christ to help us in our daily walk. It recognizes that Jesus is our only hope and our need to walk with Him in order to keep spiritually strong. On the other hand when we stray from Him the power of temptation is more apt to appear as a pleasing option, then we realize we can't keep lying to ourselves. The wisdom from life's lessons and the spiritual food in this album are evidence that Ben's spiritual maturity is genuine and not the "cookie cutter" status qou.  Ben has learned some valuable lessons from his years in the ministry, and he shares some of them on this CD.

BTW...The talented 22 year old Glover also has been playing the piano for over half  his life since his first lesson at the tender age of seven years old. He plays piano and acoustic guitar superbly all though out the CD. In concert I didn't get to see him tickle the ivorys, but did immensely enjoy his talented guitar playing and vocals.
