PAX TV, the nation’s family friendly television network, will premiere the annual awards show on Saturday, April 28, 2001 at 9 p.m. ET/PT and 8 p.m. CT/MT. The following Friday, May 4, Superstation WGN-TV, will air the Dove Awards at 8 p.m. ET, 7 p.m. CT and 5 p.m. PT.
Reunion Records Recording Artist Michael W. Smith has signed on as a host for the Dove Awards and Feed the Children has been selected as the official charity for the awards show.

Waterdeep's "You Are Lovely" single
Squint Entertainment is servicing Waterdeep's "You Are Lovely" to radio as the lead single from the upcoming album, "You Are So Good To Me: Waterdeep Worship". "You Are Lovely," featuring Word Records recording artist Fernando Ortega, will impact at Inspirational and AC formats on April 6. "You Are So Good To Me: Waterdeep Worship" is scheduled for release May 1st, 2001.
