Christian Music into 2001

Before going their separate ways, though, the band does have one more live date scheduled: a New Year's Eve concert at Harvest Christian Fellowship in Riverside, Calif., which will be recorded. Those tapes, along with others from an earlier Memphis, Tenn., date, will make up a live disc tentatively scheduled to release in May 2001. So at least in that way, Big Tent Revival will live on, playing dates in living rooms and on car stereos for years to come.

And for those who are holding out hope of a reunion, don't count on it. While Wiggins says, "in 2002 it's still likely that if everybody still feels called to be a part of this band, then you're gonna see another record and another tour," others don't see that happening. "I don't have any plans to get back together again so if you hear any talk about, ‘Yeah, we're gonna get back together in a year,’ there's no talk of that," Smith says.
