Well, besides her television appearances, she has now released her fourth album as of September 5, 2000, entitled Crystal Clear. One thing that is crystal clear is that she should no longer be referred to as the "New Talent", "New Comer" or other newbie titles because her success in Christian Music has proven that she is here to stay.
Oh yeah...and by the way, she isn't a teenager anymore either. Jaci has recently captured #1 positions for both airplay and sales charts. Crystal Clear is up on the Top Christian Albums chart, Top Mainstream Albums chart, and the Billboard Top 200 Chart. Currently this album may also have the highest retail sales debut by a solo artist on the Top Christian Albums chart.
Jaci will be starting her Fall tour of sixty cities with the hit Christian band Plus One. Plus One now has the #1 video on the CCM Video Countdown for two weeks now. "Written On My Heart" climbed to number 1 in just 7 weeks.
We do have Rachael Lampa who is worthy to wear the titles that Jaci has held for the last four years, you know...the teenager, up and coming artist, and all those titles. She is only 15, and appears she has it what it takes to hang with the big girls of CCM. Did anybody else notice that Rachael's title track, "Live For You" from her debut project sounded a lot like Jaci V.?
