Gary Chapman has been recording for the Christian music industry for more than a decade now, and he's finally released a Christmas album. Chapman's Christmas album, released on Reunion, has some of the classics, including "O Holy Night" and "Hark the Herald Angels Sing." He also has some fun and lively tunes like "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree." His excellent guitar playing also help make this first holiday release by him well worth the $16 sticker price. Gary's a cappella versions of "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," "I'll be Home for Christmas," and the peaceful "Silent Night." are beautifully done.

For the last track on the album, "Part of Heaven," Gary Chapman teams up with Allison Kraus for a wonderful peaceful duet that just seems to put the icing on the Christmas cake.
