ApologetiX...Christian Parody Pros!

Needless to say, I got a copy of their latest CD, "Biblical Graffiti" and was even more impressed! Favorites on this excellent album are the parodies of "Every Breathe You Take" by the Police, "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet" by B.T.O., "Another Brick in the Wall" by Pink Floyd, Sharp Dressed Man" by ZZ Top, & "Enter Sandman" by Metallica. I just found out yesterday that one of my favorite songs on SavageRock Radio, "Enter Samson" is the incorporation of Metallica's "Enter Sandman" tunage but lyrically Christian! It is of course by who else but the one and only...ApologetiX! 

I do not listen to any secular bands as I feel the Lord has instructed for me to abstain from this for several reasons, and do not necessarily condone any of the bands that the original music came from. I do highly recommend all of the ApologetiX music though! Listening to it hasn't made me want to listen to secular music or want to sin. I also believe this is a great way to minister to those who are not saved. Overall, the band has had a 99% positive response to their music from Christians and non Christians, with only an occasional backlash from both sides. They have a page that you can find answers to most of the questions that you may have about their making parodies out of secular music.

This band has brought back and satisfied my childhood memories of good ole Rock & Roll and added the sanctified lyrics that make an eternal difference and in  my opinion making it worth listening to!
