If you attend a church that has praise and worship service and sings the praises to the Lord using today's praise and worship songs by Hosanna, Maranantha, Vineyard or Integrity, you know that this is more than just singing songs. It is a condition of the heart, and a true experience that can make you feel as if you already are walking the streets of gold with angelic choirs singing their heavenly melodies to the Lord of lords, and King of kings. To participate in praise and worship is one of the most important activities of the human heart, and to say that praise and worship is one of the most important categories of music today is probably an understatement. Because in Heaven . . . it's all praise and worship. So, we might as well get practiced up.

There is an excellent Praise and Worship Album just released titled Songs From The Message — The Way Of Love, and it is now available in stores! It's released on the Sony & the Integrity Music label, which has been around for a while and knows what it takes to lead worshippers into the throne room.

This new album was inspired by The Message, the New Testament in a contemporary language translation, authored by Eugene Peterson, and published by NavPress. I recently added The Message to my library at home and found it is very easy reading and flows in the vein of today's language, lifestyles and venue. I highly recommend this book to anyone.
