That's the happy secret behind country music's wedding of the year. "I want to get pregnant as soon as I can," 39-year-old Amy confided to a friend. I never knew how beautiful love could be until Vince. He has always longed for another child -- and I am going to give him one. "I am still young enough to be a mother again, but I don't want to wait. Vince is taking a year off, after being non-stop on the road the past few years. That's why we decided to marry as soon as we could arrange it in the new year." Before getting ready to walk down the aisle, Vince checked with his special adviser -- his 17-year-old daughter Jenny. "When we decided to get married, Jenny was the first one I asked," a thrilled Vince told a pal. "She told me she approved and just wanted us to be happy." The pal divulged, "Vince and Amy are both taking the year off so they can be close as a family. Neither is hurting for money. Between them, they're worth over $100 million." The two instantly became friends when they first performed together in 1993. Right from the outset, Amy told an interviewer: "We got along like two peas in a pod and made no bones about it." The Nashville country music industry buzzed for four years with rumors that Gill and Grant, both married but not to each other, were in a secret romance. The two stars scoffed at the speculation, saying simply that they admired and respected each other as entertainers, close friends and fellow church-goers.
