FFH's first major full-length album, "I Want To Be Like You" & was released November 10, 1998  is an excellent album that Christian Acoustic Rock fans must have. Those who enjoy Caedman's Call can relate to this album that has some of the same styles and beautifully mastered acoustic arrangements.

The first single release "One of These Days" from the album is now playing on Christian Radio Stations nationwide. Since the airplay began, CCM enthusiasts now have another great CD to add to their collection. You can check out the new hit single "One Of These Days" from the album "I Want To Be Like You" below on this page in Real Audio or Real Video. To experience Real Audio or Video you must have RealPlayer. You can download the RealPlayer software, by going here.

If you don't have a local Christian Radio Station, may I suggest the one I listen to on 91.9 FM, WRCM (New Life 91.9). You can now listen to Charlotte, NC's Premier Christian Radio at their web site, wrcm.org. Or if you already have real audio you can click here and enjoy what us listeners in the Charlotte, NC area have been enjoying for years!

FFH originally was a cappella quartet formed in 1991 and they used the name "4 For Harmony".
They changed it to just the initials FFH, with plans to choose a real name in the future. The Summer of 95 & 96, FFH was playing up to 70 dates in three months. Around 1997, they began toying around with ideas for what FFH could stand for. "'Far From Home" was fianlly chosen, because it carries two meanings. First, as the Bible says, "we are in this world but not of it. We're far from our eternal home." Also by that time they begun touring full-time at around 150 to 200 dates a year and they were literally always far from home!

One of These Days Lyrics

One of these I'm gonna fly
Over the mountain
One of theses days I'm gonna ride
On the silver lining
One of these days I'm gonna witness
All I've been missing
One of these days

One of these days I'm gonna do
All the things I've never done
I'm gonna finish all the races
That I've run but I've never won
I'm gonna see a million faces
And recognize every one
One of these days

(Chorus)

One of these days
