dc Talk's first studio release in nearly three years is almost here. Supernatural will be here Tuesday, September 22, 1998. You can preorder Supernatural at your neighborhood Christian Book Store on the Forefront Record Label prior to the release date to ensure that you will be the first to obtain a copy! dc Talk is playing at many music festivals this summer as a part of the E.R.A.C.E. foundation's racial reconciliation events.
dc Talk fans may have been worried about the lyrics would be compromised
and the Gospel message would be omitted since their new agreement with
the mainstream Virgin Records Label. Believe me...they haven't sold out!
The Decent Christian Talk will always be there, and
they will have the platform to spread the Good News to a large audience
in the world, and not to just Christians.
If you think about it...that is what the great commission is all about.
Some of you may have heard a few of the tunes from the new dc Talk album while at one of their several concerts this year. Some fortunate people may have just received the Pre-Release Supernatural CD with all the tracks! If none of this applies to you, but you receive a Contemporary Christian Radio station in your area, you must have had to heard their new hit single "(Hey You, I'm) Into Jesus." To me, this song reminds me a little bit of old Pink Floyd...with a Pop/Alternative twist.
If you are still in the dark on this newest project, and think you'll have to wait till 9/22/98 to hear and see what's up with Supernatural, man, have I got some news for you! I have obtained some sound samples from Supernatural for those of you that haven't had the privilege of hearing much, if any of it as of yet. To listen to these samples you must have RealAudio.
