Family to Family Program helps children.

"My mother smiled gently, hugging me, and said: 'God, my son, is concerned about everything that takes place on earth-even the very smallest things.'"

Every Sunday, a great number of children attend the Children's Programs organized by the Disciples Church. Some of them come by bus as their houses are quite a distance from the Church. Though they travel far, they never miss attending these programs. They feel they are like one big family and are eager to learn as much as they can.

The other program group, organized by the FTF Coordinators, is held in the beach area, near the houses of the children in the Family-to-Family Project. Everyone takes part in the Bible studies, singing and listening to stories narrated by the Christian Outreach Worker, Ilir Nerenxa.

Recently they have been studying "The Big Book With Stories From The Bible."

Often these Bible studies are organized in the form of competitions and games to make them more attractive to the children.

One day, in order to give the children a special day to show their families all they had learned about God, the MWB Field Staff prepared many riddles and games as well as competitions, and both parents and children had a good time.

On this day, the children were divided into two groups, five to seven children to each group between seven-to-ten years of age. Only one segment of this competition would be enough to create the idea of their knowledge about God. One group created questions about the Bible and the other one supplied the answers.

Group A Group B Joana Lulo asked: "Who is Jesus Christ?" Redinela Haxhillari answered: "Jesus Christ is the Son of God; and recited: "God said about Jesus: 'You are my own dear Son and I am pleased with you.'" (Luke 3:22)

Group A Group B Fatma Llani asked: "Why did Jesus come on earth?" Altin Ferhati answered: "Because He will save his people from their sins." (Mathew 1:21)

At the end of the competition, everyone began to sing: "We Want To Lift Jesus High." They closed the program with the song "Father Abraham" and prayers. -from the Mission Without Borders internet site www.mwbi.org- All rights reserved- Used with permission-
