Grandpa decided it was time to do some renovating of Grandma's kitchen. He had his good friend Juan come over to help. It was not long before Grandpa hit his finger with the hammer. Common houshold mistake. Letting Grandpa hammer anything in with a hammer. "GEE OW JUAN!" Grandpa could be heard yelling from the kitchen. "Juan? It isn't like I hit you with that dang blasted hammer!" "That really smarts." Grandpa wimperes. "Don't reckon it was too smart hitting your finger with that there hammer, now was it?" Juan loves to put a play on words. Grandpa read him the riot act after that and they decided to change jobs and exchange tools. That would would keep Grandpa safe and tell the meaning of the word. GEE OW JUAN mens exchange.
After a while Grandpa decided he was hungry. "Juan pull up a CHR there, and lets get some lunch." Grandpa is tired already. You can tell when he uses the southern accent and slurs his words together. He forgets to use vowels sometimes when his accent is thick. CHR means eat. This is sometime so convienent!
They sat down, had their meal. Then decided after a proper rest they should get back to the task at hand. "Juan, I need that saw." Grandpa would soon ask. Juan leaned over and handed Grandpa the saw. Unfortunatly he did it blade first. Grandpa gets hurt again. Don't worry, it isn't really bad. "SEE OOH YOW! Juan!" Grandpa's sentence was interupted as he grabbed at the saw. "Oh, I am so sorry. You know you need to stop this word if you are going to keep getting hurt!" "I am ok! I wouldn't keep getting hurt if you were careful too!" SEE OOH YOW means need. Grandpa needs to be more careful.
"My DA taught me how to use these tools." Grandpa told Juan, like that has any bearing on his ability to actually use them. "Did he always get hurt?" Juan asked this I believe innocently enough. "Why you being a big wise guy?" Grandpa asked Juan defensivly. "I didn't mean it like that and you know it." That was Juans big apology to Gramps. It was understood as being such. DA means big. Now to the word small. "SEE OW." Grandpa started again. Seems that he hit his finger again.
