Grandpa Goes Golfing

"SEE YOU? EH? SEE? what?" Grandballs little white ball goes sailing in the air as my brother screams at him. He promptly gets hit on the head with the ball as he looks in Grandpas direction. "Boy, when are you goimg to learn?" That is what SEE YOU EH SEE means is learn.

"Learn what Grandpa?" A dazed John asks. "Whenver you hear any yelling on the golf course duck!"

This has become a very important lesson for John and us. You have learned the word learn!

Grandpa has a new passion for golf. He was watching the Simpsons. You know the SHOW. He watches it a lot. Which is the meaning of the word SHOW. A lot. It is the cartoon where Homer says DWOH! Or something like that. He has very little sense. The meaning of the word DWOH. A little.

I digress. Grandpa was watching this show when there was a commercial for golf. Right then Grandpa decided to learn something new. My brother JOHN knows how to golf so they go together. Grandpa is very gruff with JOHN so he must stand his ground. The meaning of JOHN is stand. He can't let Grandpa run all over him. Otherwise he would only be a caddy and never get a chance to play the beloved sport.

Grandpa hits the ball. Then he yells some nonsense. John looks up and gets hit. It is inevitable. It seems to happen everytime they play.

"Three!" yells Grandpa. "Grandpa it is four!" John informs him as pluck, he gets hit in the head. "GEE! OW! That hurts." "Next time look when I yell." "You could atleat yell my name. For goodness sakes Grandpa you named me!" This is the meaning of GEE OW. Named.

They make up and go on to play the sport. However, after a few hours of play Grandpa gets stiff. He needs Johns help to play. He is too proud to admit this though.

"John, could you put this TEE ON the ground for me?" He asks this as sweet as he can. We also get the meaning of the word TEE ON, sweet. "Yes, Grandpa." John is very sweet for helping. "Later on Grandpa, could we go look at the SWAN on the lake?" Grandpa gets a sour look on his face. That is the meaning of the word SWAN, sour. "Now, I would expect that kind of question from your sister. I never expected you to care about the swan."
