14. SR: Do you think it is important to belong to a critique group and do you belong to one. Yes, it is important. I have belonged to critique groups in the past. One was a perfect fit, for awhile, and the memories of that group will always be a wonderful memory. I haven't found a compatible group since that one dissolved.
15. SR: Are you usually writing one book at a time? SR: I focus on one book at a time. Or do you work on more than one at a time? DD: Sometimes I have more than one contract at a time but I focus on one book at a time. 16. SR: Do you suggest topics to your publishers or are you usually assigned topics by your publishers? DD: Both 14. SR: Can you discuss any upcoming topics or books that will soon be published? DD: I don't usually discuss work in progress until it is well on it's way. I never discuss ideas that I plan to pursue with anyone except closefriends and family (non-writers). (This is probably one reason I didn't join a critique after the other one dissolved.) However, Right to Vote is scheduled for release by Facts On File in July 2005.
15. SR: Complete the following sentence... "My passions are/is... DD: ... Life, knowledge, and wisdom. and all that is encompassed within these including but not limited to my family and the subject of my current project.
