NOGGIN, the commercial-free, educational network for preschoolers, celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Hispanic-themed programming Monday, September 26 at 2:00 p.m. (ET). The 90-minute block will feature episodes of Nick Jr. favorites, Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go! and the premiere of NOGGIN's new original series, Cooking for Kids with Luis. The block will repeat throughout Hispanic Heritage month, which ends Saturday, October 15.

Cooking for Kids with Luis is a series of interstitial segments that will premiere as a half-hour special at 3 p.m. ET, immediately following Dora the Explorer and Go, Diego, Go! Each segment follows the culinary adventures of 6-year-old Luis, an infectiously charming, pint-sized wonder-chef, as he shops, or in one case, fishes for ingredients, and then cooks up a range of easy-to-prepare fare. After its debut, all 20, 4-5 minute Cooking for Kids with Luis segments will roll out as part of "Noggin's Snack Time" interstitial series. All of the cooking segments and easy-to-follow recipes will be available on the network's website, http://www.noggin.com.

The Hispanic Heritage Month programming on NOGGIN includes the following three programs:

Dora the Explorer at 2:00 p.m. ET
"Daisy, La Quinceanera"
It's Dora's cousin Daisy's 15th birthday party, her quinceanera! But the party can't start without Dora and Boots -- they need to teach everybody the mambo! Can Dora and Boots get past the Barn, go through the Rainforest, and make it to Daisy's Party on time? They'll need YOUR help! Everybody mambo, mambo, mambo!

Go, Diego, Go! at 2:30 p.m. ET
"Rescue of the Red-Eyed Tree Frogs"
"Help us, help us!" sing two little red-eyed tree frogs, who have fallen in the river and are heading for a waterfall. With Baby Jaguar by his side, Diego heads out to save the tree frogs, first jumping past the Cha-Cha Coconut Trees, then using his suction-cup sticky gloves to climb up a pyramid. Diego reaches the tree frogs and catches them just before they head over the waterfall. Diego returns them to the rainforest where Alicia has found a new home with lots of red-eyed tree frog friends.

Cooking for Kids with Luis at 3:00 p.m. ET
This half-hour special for Hispanic Heritage Month features four back-to-back segments of Cooking for Kids with Luis. Join Luis as he prepares a variety of Latino treats like tortillas, empanadas and Guatemalan Cheesecake.
