The folks over at Sesame Workshop have developed Sesame Beginnings, a new infant brand that teaches parents interactive techniques and fun activities that encourage early learning in a way both they and their child will enjoy.
Featuring favorite Sesame Street characters such as Elmo, Big Bird, and Cookie as babies, the line of infant products will inform and inspire parents while entertaining and delighting their little ones. Sesame Beginnings encourages parents to use shared moments with their children to stimulate infants' cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development.
The line of products was announced at last year's International Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) Show in Orlando, Florida. At this year's upcoming trade show, Sesame Workshop is introducing various products in the line to retailers, meaning you can expect to see these products at stores near you in a couple of months.
What's can we expect from Sesame Beginnings?
- Fresh infant bedding patterns with coordinating accessories from Crown Crafts Infant Products as well as bibs and bath accessories from its sister company Hamco, that feature baby versions of the Sesame Street characters, whimsical background themes, and colorful alphabet and peek-a-boo designs.
- Coordinated room décor such as lamps, crib mobiles, and crib organizers from Baby Boom.
- A 2-in-1 activity center with 20 developmental and educational activities, Sesame Beginnings walker and Sesame Beginnings travel play yard from Kolcraft.
- Layette items and boxed gift sets from Children's Apparel Network. In addition to Sesame Beginnings products, Children's Apparel Network is also offering a full line of boys and girls Sesame Street infant and toddler playwear. The collection will include outerwear, swim, coordinates and sets.
