Help fight your kids¹ winter blues with the Yakkity Yak Marathon on U.S.-based Nicktoons on February 5th & 6th. Both days will feature 24 episodes back-to-back, from 12 noon 6pm EST. Tune in to see Yakkity, the class clown of Onion Falls High School, on his rocky road to stardom as he strives to become a standup comic.

Yakkity Yak is an 11-minute, 52 episode animated series that features a lovably oblivious and easily misguided yak that strives to shine as the next comic superstar. Despite his lack of comedic talent and many crowd-silencing performances, Yakkity is determined to make it big. On his rocky road to stardom, each episode finds Yakkity and his best friends, Keo and Lemony, in exciting adventures with hilarious consequences.

"Mark (creator and co-production partner from Kapow Pictures, Mark Gravas) and I are very excited to see that Yak has found a loyal audience on Nicktoons and that they are running a marathon to showcase Yakkity's talents," said Studio B partner Blair Peters.

"It's encouraging to know that there's a Yakkity Yak fan base out there that Nicktoons recognizes," says Mark Gravas, Creator and Co-owner of Kapow Pictures. "Hopefully this marathon will introduce the show to a lot more people."

Yakkity Yak is a Canada/Australian co-production with Kapow Pictures and is distributed by MTV Networks International and airing on Nickelodeon stations around the globe.

Studio B is an award-winning animation studio that has produced original series such as Yvon of the Yukon, What About Mimi? and D'Myna Leagues, which currently air in over 22 countries around the world. Studio B¹s international co-productions include Something Else and Yakkity Yak, which currently air on Nicktoons US and Teletoon. In addition to a full slate of service work, the studio is currently in production on 52 x 22 episodes of Being Ian for YTV and 26 x 22 minute episodes of Class of the Titans for Teletoon.
