| From the award-winning producer Thinkeroo
comes Potty Power, and DVD/VHS to solve all of those woes. Thinkeroo's
concept is simple and smart- since kids often learn by example, let them
watch how others their age do it.
A whole bunch of enthusiastic tots demonstrate
to their peers what "going potty" is all about, encouraging them on, saying
how simple it all is. Not only does the video teach, it's also musical
entertainment.
Using catchy songs, toddlers can sing along with
host Jessica Cannon, all while learning the simple steps of how to go potty.
The
video goes as follows:
Look What You Can Do For Yourself Starting off on a positive note,
this segment helps inspire kids, showing them what Big Kids do everyday,
among them is pottying.
No More Diapers For Me! The fun and freedom that comes with using
the potty.
What Do You Like to Do While Sitting on the Potty? Showing what
you can do when you pass the time on your potty.
Wipe Your Bottom Yeah, you heard me. As I call it, what you do,
after you poo.
Wash Your Hands Both this and above teach why it's important to
clean after using the potty.
Proud for Being a Kid and Wearing Underwear Celebrating the accomplishment
of learning this "important and life-changing skill." After the kids section of the video, Helpful Hints on Potty Training
answers some of the most important questions about potty training. Also

How will I know if my child is ready?
What is the best strategy to take when it comes to potty training?
What should I do if my child is resisting potty training? This is almost as important as the main video, as it reminds parents
that potty training is about patience, encouragement and teaching independence
and self-esteem.
Finally, the DVD includes a great comedic fairy tale, The Princess
and the Potty. This segment delivers more motivation, encouragement,
and a sense of acheivement, to lead to the very happy ending of potty training,
a joyous event for all parties involved. The story holds up in replay,
a wonderful feature in itself for naturally repetition loving kids
I must admit, I cracked up when I first heard
of this video, and no, that's not intentional potty humour. I still have
