The 2nd Annual Spaceys

Tens of thousands of viewers voted in the 2nd Annual Spaceys, an award honouring the finest in science fiction and fantasy entertainment. Created by Canada's extremely popular SPACE: The Imagination Station, the Spaceys are a uniquely formatted awards show; instead of the traditional nominees sitting in an audience, waiting to be called, the Spaceys travel to places like London, England and Hollywood, to personally present the awards to their winners. While it doesn't fit perfectly in my column subjective, many of these shows are popular with tweens and teens, as well as adult audiences. Yes, that can be said of anything, there's 8-year-olds who love The Sopranos, but the sci-fi and fantasy genres are often unintentionally acceptable as family fare.

So without further ado, here are the nominees, with the winners names in bold.
